About our Charter
FNW proudly fishes out of Toledo Beach Marina located in Monroe Michigan on Lake Erie just off of I-75 at exit 9. We are not your typical Charter! When our customers want to participate in setting lines or netting fish we encourage them to jump right in. FNW Sport Fishing Charters is a family friendly fishing experience. There is nothing better than watching kids reel in fish while their parents sit back and enjoy the moment. We also rise above the competition because we are one of the few Charters that runs a 1st mate, this allows us to keep the lines in the water and attend to our customers needs. FNW Sport Fishing Charters is Handicap Accessible.
Your Captain "Andy Willetts" and 1st Mate "Tim Kerr"
Captain Andy learned to fish Lake Erie from his father "Big Frank Willetts" for more than 25 years before his passing in 2003. Andy learned all his fathers techniques in that time and perfected some of his own to guarantee a successful fishing trip and experience for his customers while aboard the Just Jake III. He has been fishing out of Toledo Beach Marina since the early 1980's.
1st Mate Tim Kerr has been fishing with FNW Sport Fishing Charters aboard the Just Jake III for the past 6 years. Tim has been fishing the Great Lakes his entire life. His knowledge and experience is second to none. Our goal as Captain and 1st mate is to ensure our clients a World Class experiance and make sure they have positive memories that last a life time.
Our 31' Tiara 3100 open
While fishing with FNW Sport Fishing Charters you will be fishing from a 31' Tiara Open named JUST JAKE III. The JUST JAKE III is rigged to the max for the Ultimate fishing experience which includes All new Electronics, GPS, Fish Finder, Radar, Marine radio, Speed and Temperature unit . We proudly use Top of the Line fishing gear which includes All New Shimano Rods and Reels. We have a private marine head for customer use . The JUST JAKE III can fish up to 6 clients comfortably.
Charter Rates and Seasonal Information
Walleye Fishing Seasons
TOLEDO BEACH MARINA, MONROE MI.
APRIL 15TH THROUGH AUGUST 31ST
We offer morning and afternoon trips. Our trips are 5 hours from dock to dock or a limit of fish.
- Morning trips are from 7am to 12pm
- Afternoon trips are from 2pm to 7pm
Peak season for Walleye runs from May 1st through Mid August.
1-4 people $600.00
5 people $700.00
6 people $800.00
You MUST obtain a Michigan or Ohio fishing license before your trip .Deposit of $100.00 is REQUIRED to hold your date. If you need to cancel it MUST be within 2 weeks of your scheduled date or lose your deposit. Your Captain will inform you as soon as possible if your charter needs to be cancelled due to Weather or Poor Fishing conditions, if your charter is cancelled you will have the option to re-book or have the deposit refunded. Our goal is to show our customers a good time, not to beat them up due to rough sea's or poor fishing. Fish cleaning is available for a $1.00 per fish (Walleye only)
HURON, OHIO
October 1st - November 15th
We run Trophy Walleye Trips in Huron Ohio
- 1 trip per day from 8am to 4pm or a limit of fish.

Perch Fishing Season
FNW Sport Fishing runs 1 Trip per day for Perch. We start Perch Fishing Charters approx August 15 and go through November 1st. All Equipment and Bait is provided for Perch Trips.We recommend having the perch cleaned professionally. We can recommend a local Perch cleaning facility on the day of your Charter.
- Trips are from 7am to 12pm or limit of fish.
1-4 people $600.00 / each additional person is $90.00 per person up to 6 people.

What to Bring on your Charter
- Soft soled shoe's/Non-marking soles(No Work Boots or Black soled shoes)
- Hat or Visor
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Digital camera or video camera to capture your memories
- Motion sickness medication if you're prone to sea sickness. If you don't know if you get sea sick, assume you do and take precautions.
- Appropriate clothing for the season
- Snacks and food in a small cooler
- Beverages of your choice(No Glass bottles)
- Cooler to transport your catch home
